MOBILE, Ala. | The fall portion of the 2024-25 schedule for South Alabama gets underway this week when the Jaguars compete at the Green Wave Invitational hosted by Tulane at TPC Louisiana.
The two-day tournament is set to get underway on Monday morning with an 8 a.m. shotgun start on the par 72, 6,275-yard course.
Along with the Jags, the nine-team field includes Alabama State, Dallas Baptist, Memphis, Southern Illinois, Troy, UTSA, Western Carolina, and the tournament host Tulane.

South Alabama welcomes six newcomers –
Mercedes Aldana,
Emma Baier,
Anna Behnsen,
Katelyn Foster,
Katharina Schroll and
Flavia Tamburlini – while returning four players from last year's roster –
Laura Burch,
Grace Suter,
Cassidy Lambert and
Malia Uyeshiro.
Last season, Uyeshiro led the club with a 76.96 strokes per round average, recorded 41 birdies and finished inside the Top 25 in four tournaments. Lambert paced the group in birdies with 57 a year ago, and Suter was second on the club in the category with 47.
Scheduled to compete this week at the Green Wave Invitational for South Alabama are Behnsen (No. 1), Aldana (No. 2), Burch (No. 3), Schroll (No. 4) and Uyeshiro (No. 5).
