Jaguar Women Return to Action at the 47th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational

MOBILE, Ala. | After taking two weeks off, South Alabama returns to action this week when it competes at the 47th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational hosted by Florida International on the Silver Fox Golf Course at Trump National Doral.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament is set to get underway on Monday morning with a 7 a.m. (CT) shotgun start on the par 71, 5,926-yard course. South Alabama will be pared up with Barry and Daytona State in the opening round, and begin on hole Nos. 4-7. Tuesday's final round will also be a 7 a.m. (CT) shotgun start.

Scheduled to compete for the Jaguars at the tournament are Katharina Schroll (No. 1), Malia Uyeshiro (No.2), Mercedes Aldana (No. 3), Anna Behnsen (No. 4) and Flavia Tamburlini (No. 5).

Along with the Jags, the 14-team field includes tournament host FIU, Barry, Cincinnati, Daytona State, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia State, Jacksonville, Palm Beach State, Seminole State, South Dakota, South Florida, Stetson and UTEP, as well as individuals from FIU (3), USF (1) and Barry (1).

The appearance at the event marks the sixth overall (2023, 2019, 2010, 2001, 1991) by the Jaguars and the second-straight fall at the event.

Live scoring links for each round will be available on the women's golf schedule page at www.USAJaguars.com.

Through its first two events, South Alabama has finished first and sixth, while individually, the Jags have posted five Top 20 finishes this fall.

Schroll is averaging a team-low 73.5 strokes per round, but the freshman is closely followed by Uyeshiro (73.8), Aldana (74.0) and Behnsen (74.5). Schroll also paces the team in birdies (16), while Behnsen has 12 of her own. Uyeshiro and Aldana also have six each, while the later has an eagle. In her first tournament two weeks ago, Tamburlini recorded seven birdies and an eagle.
