Series Preview: James Madison

MOBILE, Ala. - The Jaguars ready themselves ahead of their penultimate home series with the James Madison Dukes.

James Madison (24-16, 10-8) is coming off a weekend sweep of Georgia Southern, then a midweek home loss to Maryland. The Dukes are 3-6 in games with shared opponents to South (Texas State, Georgia State, Old Dominion). JMU has series sweeps of App State and Georgia Southern, and has gone 1-2 against TXST, Georgia State, ODU, and Coastal Carolina. On the road, JMU is 6-12, with three of them conference wins.

This will be the second ever series meeting between the two conference opponents. Last season, South Alabama won the inaugural game, 19-3, before dropping game two, then taking the series in the rubber match.
