NEW ORLEANS – After earning his third win in the pole vault of this outdoor season, Kyle Rademeyer was named Sun Belt Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the sixth time in his collegiate career, the conference announced Wednesday.
Rademeyer had another solid outing in the pole vault at the Crimson Tide Invitational, finishing with a new season-best clearance of 5.62 meters (18 '5.25") to take first place in the event. He was the only athlete to clear over 5.26 meters (17' 2.75") in the event and now holds the No.3 ranked pole vault in the country and the No.1 mark in the Sun Belt Conference.
