MOBILE, Ala. - South Alabama Baseball announces the 2025 schedule featuring matchups against three different SEC opponents and 27 home games.

The Jags will open up the season with a home tournament, hosting SIU-Edwardsville, Kent State, and two games against Eastern Kentucky. 

The next weekend South Alabama will travel up to face in-state foe UAB for a three game series, before playing a five game homestand. USA will host midweek matchups with New Orleans and Alabama State before playing Jacksonville to segue into March.

The Jaguars will then play seven of their next eight games on the road, with a road trip to Ruston, La. to face Louisiana Tech before hosting a midweek matchup against Ole Miss. South opens up conference play on the road at Georgia State, then playing Alabama in Tuscaloosa. 

South Alabama will then play the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana for the home conference opener. To close out March, South will play a neutral-site game against Auburn in Montgomery, then play at Southern Miss. 

The Jags will spend the first week of April at home, hosting Southeastern Louisiana for a midweek, then Georgia Southern over the weekend. South will then play a series at Arkansas State and a midweek game at Alabama State before returning to Stanky Field to host the Texas State Bobcats.

South will complete the home-and-home with the Privateers traveling to New Orleans, then play a road series against Marshall and return to Mobile for a midweek game against Nicholls State.

South Alabama is set to host Troy to start May, followed by a midweek trip to Southeastern Louisiana, and a return to Mobile for a series against App State. 

The Jags will finish the regular season in Monroe, La. with a series at ULM. The Sun Belt Conference Tournament will take place from May 21 through May 26th.
