QUOTES
Head Coach Ben Hannan
Overall thoughts on the week
The golf course was extremely difficult as the scores indicate.  It was a mental battle all week and a grind on every shot, especially playing 36 holes the first day.  We struggled a little early as a group and got behind score wise, but settled in and damage controlled pretty well the first day, trying to stay patient as possible.  Simply put, there were not a lot of birdie opportunities, so it was changing the mentality and accepting what the course allowed. For a young team, these are great experiences that will help continue our development. Understanding the value of a shot is something we preach all the time, and playing a course like this simply emphasizes that point.

On the team's score mirroring Hill and Thyr's performances
Hugo and Joshua are the leaders of this team and each have the ability to win any event they play.  This tournament was no different as both were in the hunt with a few holes to go.  We were able to climb the leaderboard as a team on the last day, because of their outstanding closing rounds on a very hard golf course.  Consistent team golf is all about depth, so you can take advantage of under par rounds when they come.  This is a young and talented group with good leadership, so if we keep working hard and learning from these types of experiences, good golf will follow.
