MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama welcomes in-state rival Troy this weekend for its final home series of the regular season. Game one of the series is set to get underway Thursday at Jaguar Field with first pitch set for 6 p.m. Game two is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. with the series finale set for 2 p.m. on Saturday.
South Alabama (35-13, 17-4 SBC) enters the weekend series with the second-best record in the league this spring, just two games back of Louisiana. Troy (33-15-1, 14-6-1) is in fourth in the SBC in the standings entering the final weekend of league play.
