MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama is staying local this week, as the men's and women's teams prepare for the Mobile Invitational this Saturday, right here in town.

The meet is being hosted by the University of Mobile, and it is taking place at South Alabama's Jaguar Track. Events begin with the hammer and discus throws at 8:30 a.m., and continue on throughout the afternoon, culminating in the men's and women's 4x400-meter relays.

NOTES
- This will be the third time this season the Jaguars will compete at their home track.
- Colette Uys has set a new school-record in the women's shot-put in two consecutive weeks.
- The meet is the University of Mobile's Senior Day, and their seniors will be recognized at 11:00 a.m.
- Kyle Rademeyer set a new school record in the pole vault last weekend, and he was named the Sun Belt Men's Field Athlete of the Week.
