Five seniors are listed among the 2023 South Alabama softball roster, and each Monday throughout the season, one will give fans a view through their eyes as they recap the previous week. On tap this week is pitcher Jenna Hardy.

Hey everyone!!! I'm senior pitcher Jenna Hardy and I'm gonna give you recap of my week leading up to our series against ULM!!

Tuesday
Just another start of the day at my internship for a couple of hours. After that it was time to eat some lunch then head off to weights. Normally I throw a bullpen on Tuesday, but this week since we are home Liv (Olivia Lackie) and I did a yoga session today to loosen up and stretch for the upcoming weekend. After that I went home did some homework and called it a night.

Wednesday
Starting off another day at my internship!!! It was a slow day today so I got out a little bit earlier than most days!!! After that I went home and made some shredded chicken and potatoes for lunch and saved some for later for dinner. Then I was off to the field for a bullpen and practice right afterwards. It was a solid day at practice for the team! Once we were done, I got ice for my shoulder then I went home and reheated my leftover lunch and turned in for the night!

Thursday
Today, I got up early and got ready for another day at my internship. After that I headed home to prep some lunch then it was off to the field for an early bullpen before practice. Today was more of a defense day at the beginning and once we were through with that the pitchers went in for treatment as the rest of the team hit in the field. After treatment, it was time for weights. It was a quick workout but left me feeling quick and energized. After that it was time to head home and eat some dinner then I was off the bed.

Friday – GAME DAY!!!
It's Game Day Jags!! I was up early today to get something done before I had to be up at the field for warms. Since it was game day, I spoiled myself with some boba at Share Tea. I always get the Winter Melon with fresh milk and boba, I highly recommend! Then it was time to head up to the field to get ready and do treatment. Liv got the start on the mound tonight, but I was ready in case I was called upon. We started off a little slow, but we came out roaring in the middle of the game to put some runs on the board!! It was a great team win for the Jags as we won 6-0. It was a late night after the game so once I was changed I went and got some dinner then it was time to head home and go to bed.

Saturday – Game Day pt. 2
It's another Jags' game day everyone!! Yet again an early start to the day as I ate some breakfast with my roommate and her parents. Then we got news that game time was pushed back due to some weather coming through, but that gave me some extra time to relax. After chilling out for a little bit, it was time to head up to the field. We all got there a bit earlier to pull the tarp then before you know it, it was game time! I got the start on the mound tonight!! We started off strong by scoring first, and held onto the one-run lead until we scored another run! Although I did give up a home run in the seventh, Liv came in and finished it out for another Jags Win!!! The win clinched the series for us, and now it's time for the sweep tomorrow!

Sunday – Final Day!
Today was the last day of the series and everyone on the team wanted to go out with a bang!!  Liv got the start in the circle again, but I was ready in case I was need at any point. We started off scoring early and Liv kept shutting down the other team. We had another inning with a strong rally scoring four runs in the fourth and came out with the sweep!!! This was another good team win for the Jags!! After the game, we sat down and signed autographs for all the fans that were there!! I love getting to engage with fans!!! After that we got to clean up and the pitchers were off to do a pool recovery. Once that was done, I headed home to relax for a little bit then it was time for dinner. Then I was off to bed early tonight!

That's it for this week Jaguar Fans!!! It was great to see y'all pack out the stadium this weekend!!! Can't wait to be back and see it again!!!!
