MOBILE, Ala. | The South Alabama softball program will host the Third Annual Play for the J Auction and Game Night on Saturday, January 17 at the MacQueen Alumni Center Ballroom.  

"The purpose for Play for the J is twofold," South Alabama head coach Becky Clark said. "We are creating an atmosphere where our fans can interact with our student-athletes while also raising money that will directly benefit their development and overall experience at South Alabama. We have incredible young women wearing our uniform and Play for the J gives our fan base a chance to interact with them on a more personal level."

The Play for the J Auction and Game Night presented by Beebe's Termite and Pest Control will include a Game Night Tailgate from 5-6 p.m., where attendees will be able to meet and take pictures with their favorite South Alabama softball players, enjoy a cash bar, and play tailgate games for prizes. 

Game Night will follow the Tailgate and start at 6 p.m. Those attending the event will have the opportunity to mingle with the South Alabama softball players, test their luck in games of skill, and participate in a live auction. 

There are still sponsorship packages available for the event. 

Grand Slam - Food Sponsor ($4,000)
- Company or Personal Name will be displayed at all food tables
- Company or Personal Name will be displayed on PowerPoint graphics during dinner
- Company or Personal Name will be displayed on scoreboard during spring home games
- Emcee will mention Company or Personal Name as food sponsor throughout the night
- Red Table at Game Night (Includes 8 seats and 8 signed softball posters, ballpark snacks and 16 free alcohol tickets)
- Tax Deductible ($108 non-deductible benefit)    

Home Run - Happy Hour/Tailgate Sponsor ($4,000)
- Company or Personal Name will name the tailgate and be displayed on all social media graphics promoting tailgate
- Company or Personal Name will be displayed on PowerPoint graphics during event
- Company or Personal Name will be displayed on scoreboard during spring home games
- Emcee will mention Company or Personal Name as tailgate sponsor throughout the night
- Red Table at Game Night (Includes 8 seats and 8 signed softball posters, Ballpark snacks and 16 free alcohol tickets)
- Tax Deductible ($108 non-deductible benefit)

Triple - Game Sponsor ($1,000)    
- Company or Personal Name will be displayed on game graphic during event
- Company or Personal Name will be mentioned on video explaining game
- Emcee will mention Company or Personal Name that sponsored each game
- Red Table at game night (Includes 8 seats and 8 signed softball posters, ballpark snacks and 8 free alcohol tickets)
- Tax Deductible ($68 non-deductible benefit)

Eight-person tables are available for $750 and $500. The $750 "Double - Red Table" sponsorship includes 8 seats, 8 signed softball posters, ballpark snacks and 8 free alcohol tickets, while the $500 "Single - Blue Table" sponsorship includes 8 seats and 8 signed softball posters.
