Quotable from coach Dr. Jaco Keyser
"Good fight but unfortunately not good enough today. I guess we could put a positive spin on this year and say we had great 18-6 record and it's a rebuild or reset with a new team but we are way past that stage as a program. Disappointed that our streak of playing in the finals 10 years straight is over. Disappointed in our lack of progress this year. Disappointed that we did not maximize our potential as a team. Having said that I honestly have zero regrets. Our talent level is high, and the intent and fight was great. One of those rare years where we could not quite figure things out. Everyone involved will use this disappointment as motivation that will turn into determination to make the improvements needed to bounce back next year because we will never be comfortable with not maximizing potential in this program and not challenging for conference."
