DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. | South Alabama women's golf's
Carlota Garcia tied for sixth and earned all-tournament honors Tuesday afternoon at the Sun Belt Conference Championship held at LPGA International - Hills Course. Garcia registered a three-round four-over par 224 (73-76-71). Garcia climbed 11 spots on the final day carding a one-under 71 and recorded three birdies.
As a team, the Jaguar women entered the final day of tournament action in fifth-place, but dropped a spot to place sixth after firing a three-round 904 (+40) with a 302 in the third and final round.

Notes
• South Alabama moved up two spots on day two of the tournament to fifth, before finishing sixth on Tuesday
• The three-round 220 for Garcia tied for her second-lowest tournament performance this season (The Judson, 10/31 – 11/1)
• Garcia's third-round one-under par 71 also tied for her second-lowest round of the year
• Top 10 finish for Garcia earned her all-tournament honors, and with that finish she has finished inside the top 20 in seven of her nine events during the 2022-23 season
• Lambert fired a two-under par (70) in Monday's second round, birding holes two and seven, to move into a tie for eighth
• Her second-round 70 was also a new single-round low for the sophomore, and her 6th-place finish was the fifth top-20 of the season
