MOBILE, Ala. | South Alabama will head back out on the road for its final non-conference tournament of the spring as the Jags travel to Madeira Beach, Fla., to compete in THE Spring Games held at R.O.C. Park.
The Jaguars (13-7) – currently riding a three-game win streak – will open up the tournament with a pair of games on Friday – vs. Chattanooga (10 a.m.) and vs. Iowa (12:30 p.m.) and then two more games on Saturday – vs. Lehigh (8 a.m.) and Iona (10:30 a.m.), before closing out with a single game on Sunday – vs. Princeton (8 a.m.).  All times listed are Central.

•   The Jags outscored their opponents 31-4 at the Jane B. Moore Memorial and picked up three run-rule victories

Sasha Willems has had at least one hit 10 of her last 11 games, and batted .538 (7-for-13) with five extra-base hits – a double, two triples and two home runs – and a 1.385 slugging percentage, while driving in eight, scoring four runs and drawing a pair of walks over the five games this past weekend

Victoria Ortiz and Willems pace the team with three home runs, Willems have driven in a team-best 16 run and Ortiz has 12 RBI
•   Over her last four starts,
Olivia Lackie (7-3) has retired 23 straight batters – 18 via strikeout – when the junior has gotten ahead 0-2 in the count
•   The last batter to record a hit after falling behind 0-2 in the count to Lackie was Mississippi State's Nadia Barbary who singled in the second inning of that contest on Feb. 24
•   Lackie was selected as the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday after going 2-0 in the circle with a 0.54 earned run average, allowing three hits in her 13 innings of work, while holding opponents to a .073 batting average and striking out 16 batters
•   In the circle,
Jenna Hardy (6-4) has a 1.54 earned run average, and has struck out 63 in her 68.1 innings of work, while Lackie (7-3) has a 1.81 ERA and has struck out 75 in 58.0 innings of work
•   As a staff, USA has a 1.76 ERA and is holding opponents to a .194 batting average
