MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama's
Kyle Rademeyer is set to participate in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This is Rademeyer's third time competing in the pole vault at the indoor championships. In 2021, he finished 11
th with a height of 5.30 meters. Last season, Rademeyer reached a height of 5.60 meters to finish in sixth place.

Rademeyer has already competed once this season at the Albuquerque Convention Center where the championships are being held, when he participated in the New Mexico Open. In that meet, he set a new personal and school-record with a clearance of 5.62 meters (18 feet, 5.25 inches).

The men's pole vault is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. central time on Friday.

NOTES
- Rademeyer's season-high 5.62 meters is tied for seventh-best in NCAA Division I this season. The top mark of 5.90 meters (19 feet, 4.25 inches) belongs to Sondre Guttormsen of Princeton, who has won the previous outdoor and indoor NCAA championships.
- Rademeyer is one of three athletes from the Sun Belt who will compete in the championships: Alexis Glasco of Coastal Carolina (60-meter hurdles) and Camryn Newton-Smith from Arkansas State (Pentathlon).
- He is one of seven male Jaguar athletes in school history to be named All-American multiple times.
