MOBILE, Ala. | The South Alabama Jaguars (16-15, 9-9 Sun Belt) begin play in the Hercules Tires Sun Belt Men's Basketball Championship on Thursday, when they take on the App State Mountaineers (16-15, 9-9 SBC) in the 8-9 matchup at the Pensacola Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the Jaguars and the Mountaineers in the conference tournament. In their lone matchup this season, the Jags came away with a 74-57 victory at the Mitchell Center.
