Quotable from coach Nick Brochu
"First matches of the year were good. We tried different pairs in doubles and saw some good things and saw some things we need to work on. I thought the guys behaved very well on the court, sometimes we got down and we were able to come back and fought hard. I think we saw a lot of positives today. Two wins to start the year especially the way we played, even though we were winning we didn't slow down. We kept our foot on the gas."

"We did a lot of conditioning in the fall and since we came back in early January we have been working hard. Two matches in one day and it was cold, no one complained which is a good sign because everyone is fit. We are on the road for a couple of matches this weekend and it will be exciting."

Up Next
South Alabama hits the road this weekend for a pair of matches in Starkville (Miss.) beginning with East Tennessee State on Sunday, before facing Mississippi State on Monday.
