Head coach Nick Brochu
"Today was a rough day, we could see a lot of guys were running out of steam a bit. It is hard when you play nine hours in two days, it's hard. We try to train hard and some of the guys look great. We've got to keep working hard on our conditioning and be in better shape. It was extremely hot this weekend but it was a good test for our guys to dig deep and battle even though you're running low on energy. We saw some great battles today. Not all negative today, some of the matches we lost in three sets. We were battling until the last point, so that's a good thing to see in players. Very impressed with how Javier played over the weekend, he's the only one who went undefeated so he definitely showed us he's been working really hard this summer and is playing good right now. The intensity and energy, we showed a lot of it this week and very happy with the first tournament."
