The South Alabama pitching staff ranks 10th nationally in hits allowed per nine innings (7.29) and WHIP (1.22), 13th in shutouts (4) and 23rd in ERA (3.82). The Jags lead the Sun Belt Conference in ERA, shutouts, fewest hits allowed (248), runs allowed (147), earned runs allowed (130) and opponent batting average (.222), and ranks second in walks allowed (124).
STOKES TIED FOR LEAGUE LEAD IN DOUBLES
First baseman Hunter Stokes ranks tied for first in the Sun Belt Conference in doubles (13) entering the week. Stokes recorded two doubles in three games in last weekend's series at Troy.
MONTIEL AMONG LEAGUE LEADERS IN RUNS
Shortstop Santi Montiel ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference in runs scored (35) entering the game. He has scored three runs over the final two games of last weekend's Troy series.
164 AND COUNTING
Shortstop Santi Montiel has started 164 consecutive games - every game since he joined the program in 2019 - with his 150th coming in the series finale with UT Arlington on March 20.

DONALDSON IN THE CLUTCH
Kasey Donaldson went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, career-high six RBIs - which marked the most by a Jaguar in a game this season - and one run scored in Friday's series finale at Troy after initially entering the game as a pinch-hitter. Donaldson delivered a three-run double off the left field wall in the top of the 10th inning to help lift the Jags over the Trojans in the rubber match.
SEASON HIGH IN WALKS ALLOWED
South Alabama issued a season-high nine walks in Friday's series-clinching win at Troy. Left-hander Tyler Lehrmann allowed four walks in 5 1/3 innings, while right-hander Eric Lin, who earned the win in a career-high 4 1/3 innings pitched, issued five walks while earning the win.
HITS AND RUNS
South Alabama has recorded 10 or more his in four of its last five games, including all three games of last weekend's series at Troy, and scored 11 runs in two of those three contests.
