JAG MEN’S TENNIS OPENS SBC TOURNAMENT AGAINST GEORGIA SOUTHERN

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama men's tennis team will take on No. 7 seed Georgia Southern in the opening round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Peachtree City, Ga. on Thursday at 1 p.m. (CST). The winner will advance to play in the semifinals against either Louisiana or UTA on Friday at 1 p.m. (CST).

The Jags finished the regular season 15-6, including a 4-1 mark in Sun Belt play to receive the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament.

NOTES
- USA leads Georgia Southern 8-2 in the all-time series. The Jags beat the Eagles 4-2 on the road earlier this season.
- South has won seven straight meetings against GSU.
- South Alabama is ranked No. 68 in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.
- The Jags have won a season-high five straight matches entering the conference tournament.
- USA finished the regular season a perfect 11-0 at home and went 3-0 on neutral courts.
- In five out of the last seven matches, South has won the doubles point.
- Delcour has won five straight singles matches and has a team-best 14 wins in singles dual match play.
- Clements and Delcour are 11-6 at the No. 1 position in doubles and 15-6 overall. Clements and Delcour have won four out of the past five matches.
- Collard and St-Hilaire have won nine of their last 11 matches playing at No. 2 in doubles and are 12-3 playing together this spring. The duo went a perfect 5-0 in Sun Belt competition.
- Montoya improved to 9-6 in singles competition this spring.
- Bugaj clinched the match point in the 4-3 win over No. 50 FAU on Saturday to earn his sixth win of the spring.
