THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- On Louisiana:
"It's a big weekend for us and I'm very glad we are playing at home. Hopefully, our crowd gets behind us and helps us push even harder. Louisiana has had a great year, probably its best year in the last 10. Luc [Godin] is doing a great job in his first year with the team. We know them pretty well, they have the same team as last year. They also will know some of our players as well. So, I think it's going to be a great match. We've been rivals for a long time and both teams are definitely looking forward to it. We have to just look at it as just a regular match. Of course, there is a lot on the line as far as seeding. We just have to look at it as a regular season match and it's just one match. We just have to play the best that we can and not add any pressure. We just have to focus and play the way that we want to play and be aggressive. I think the doubles point is going to be crucial. Louisiana is strong in doubles at the top positions and so are we. So, I think it's just going to be a great match.

- On UTA:
"We haven't played them in probably four years. The last time we played them was the first round of the conference tournament in 2018. UTA is always tough, they always have some good players on top. UTA shows a lot of emotion. They are loud and passionate. I think Sunday is going to be a good match, but we are going to have to show a lot of character and match their intensity. I think talent wise, all three teams this weekend are all very similar. It's going to come down to which team can have six guys play top tennis at the same time and who wants it the most. It's going to be a great weekend. It's a very important weekend for us and we are glad to be playing at home."
