AUBURN, Ala. – The University of South Alabama track and field's Colette Uys broke the school discus record while the men's and women's teams claimed three victories and 22 top-five finishes at the Tiger Track Classic on Saturday.
The Jaguar's weekend in at the Tiger Track Classic was highlighted by victories from Adele Magaud (5000m), Lance Cunigan (3000m steeplechase) and Francois Prinsloo (discus). Five Jaguar track and field performers moved up in the all-time lists: Josh Estes (javelin), Kiara Risher (high jump), Colette Uys (discus/shot put), Riley Caudill (pole vault) Rachel Hunter (400m hurdles).

MEN'S/WOMEN'S FIELD NOTES
- Francois Prinsloo won the discus with a 59.91m mark while Sebastian Loschner (50.96m) took fifth.
- Prinsloo also placed fourth in the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 63.66m. He still holds the third-highest mark in school history.
- Josh Estes finished in the runner-up spot in the javelin after throwing a personal-best 64.42m (211-04) mark. He now holds the third-highest mark in program history.
- Dorian Curry tied his personal best high jump mark of 2.10m while finishing second in the event.
- On the women's side of the high jump, Kiara Risher earned second with a personal-best height of 1.76m, which moves her to fifth on the all-time program list.
- Noah Mumme recorded a 5.11m mark in the pole vault for third place.
- Riley Caudill moved into sixth on the program top-10 list in the pole vault (3.86m).
- Colette Uys earned a third -place finish and broke the program discus record with a mark of 51.62m.
- Uys also picked up a second-place finish in the shot put (15.69m) and now sits at second in the Jaguar record books.
- Taviana Williams placed fifth in the triple jump after recording a 11.59m mark.
- Christian Ellis took third for the men's team in the triple jump (14.88m).
MEN'S/WOMEN'S RUNNING NOTES
- Lance Cunigan was victorious in the 3000m steeplechase (9:50.42).
- Cunigan also took third in the 1500m with a personal-best time of 3:57.07 while Brandon Knieja (3:58.33) placed fifth.
- Adele Magaud earned a victory in the 5000m with a time of 17:18.14.
- On the men's side of the 5000m, Onesmus Kemboi placed third after clocking a time of 15:04.91.
- Lester Davison crossed the finish line in 14.41, good enough for third in the 110m hurdles.
- Rocio Chaparro finished fifth in the 100m hurdles, posting a time of 14.99.
- Jalen Boyd placed fifth in the 400m dash with a time of 48.75.
- Rachel Hunter took fourth in the 400m hurdles after finishing the race in a personal-best 1:03.53, moving her to 10th on the program all-time list.
- Abbey Weitenbeck earned a second-place finish in the 1500m after smashing her personal best with a time of 4:50.67.
- The women's 4 x 100m relay (46.88) team of Ariana Ruffin, Cierra Hedrick, Risher and Kaitlyn Knight finished third.
