Head Coach Terry Fowler:
Opening statement:
"Just really disappointed for our kids. I thought we had some good practices leading into this game and we had a good warmup, and I just thought we were ready to compete for 40 minutes. Defensively, I thought we did some really good things, they were in the 40s to start the fourth quarter. We just couldn't do anything offensively, we were not able to get the ball to go in the basket. On top of that, we didn't do a good job from the free throw line. To start the game, they had 16 points off our turnovers, I thought that was the big difference in the first half. Our kids are fighting. They are disappointed, they are hurting, and we've got to make sure we are ready to go after Thanksgiving."
On figuring out which lineup works:
"We are playing Kelsey at the one, where she's really not comfortable, at least not yet. Tonight, Michiyah was sick with the flu, so that put us down someone who is able to play in the point guard position. We are already playing a jigsaw puzzle and we had to play with it again today, but we've got to figure it out, there's no excuses. As a coaching staff, we've got to find solutions to help our young ladies find success."
