Sebastien Collard gets a first-round bye and will play in the round of 32 main draw. Jack Clements will play in the round of 64 main draw.

The doubles duos of Delcour and Clements will play in the round of 32 on Friday.

Head coach Nick Brochu:
"The day started very well and we got three strong wins. We were battling well, we were playing well, but at one point we just could not capitalize on the big points. We dropped a few of the last matches. For singles, Max was in a position to win and he let that slip. Louis was also in control of his match and started cramping and almost defaulted. Very disappointing in singles. Javier also had an injury in his leg which kept them from competing in doubles. Those three singles losses are very frustrating.

Going into doubles, we won one and lost one. The one we lost, I'm still trying to figure out how we lost that. We had chances, we played well and we played aggressive, the problem is that every time there was a big or important point,  we managed to make a mistake. Usually, Seb and Max are good on key points, but today it was just great playing until the most important point and that's where we screwed up. In the last doubles, Louis and Jack just barely got that win in a tiebreaker 87. We need to play better. Today we started great but finished not in a good fashion. Tomorrow is the main draw and we need to get ready, but definitely need to focus more on big points."
