MOBILE, Ala. - The University of South Alabama women's basketball team has canceled its contest at UTA which was originally scheduled for Thursday as well as the contest at Texas State on Saturday. Due to a combination of injuries and COVID-19 protocols, South was unable to meet the requirement for healthy players. 

According to Sun Belt Conference policy, the cancellation will be ruled a no-contest and will not be rescheduled.

The Jags are scheduled to return at ULM on January 15.
