THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu

- On the Samford Invitational: "We are looking forward to going to Samford every year, it's a great tournament. It's a well ran tournament and we get to play a lot of matches. We will play a lot of singles and doubles during the three days and that's what we are looking for in a tournament during the fall. Our new guys are getting better every match. Every tournament we go to, we come back and we gain more experience. We practice hard and then see how we do against tough competition. Last week, we played at Southern Miss and I thought we played great, especially the second day. We came back with 10 out of 12 wins, so that was a big morale boost. But, there are still a few things that we need to fix. In the two matches that we lost, we were in a position to win and we couldn't close it out. So, we worked on that this week. We did a lot of points, short points and wrapping sets up. Hopefully, this week we find ourselves in a similar position and we can close the set. I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Seb [Collard] is still undefeated in singles and so he is hoping to keep it that way.
