THEY SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu
- On the player's performance on Sunday: "It was a great day. We had a good meeting after the matches yesterday. We talked about fixing one or two things for today's matches and the guys really responded. We won 10 out of 12 matches and the two matches we lost, the guys were in position to come away with a win. So, the guys came back charging very hard and that's what you want to see. The energy was great. It's been a hot, long weekend and everybody was tired on the second day. I told my guys that we have to show the most energy and intensity. We need to be the loudest team out here and we were. I think our results reflect that. We really took it to them. When it's late in a tournament, the strategy is to start extremely hard and take an early lead. It was very important to have a good start and we did that. I'm very happy with the results and the intensity from today. Our guys are extremely tired but we fought hard and everyone is walking away with a big smile on their face. It was great teamwork today and just great team effort."
