THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu

- On the Southern Miss Invitational: "The guys are very excited to go to Southern Miss. Number one because we are going as a team. Everybody is going so we have been working a lot on team spirit and comradery. I think the guys will really enjoy being on the road with each other. We are going to be playing two really good teams in Southern Miss and UAB that we will see during the season. So, it's going to give us a good look at both their returning players and new players. I think the guys are looking forward to trying new doubles teams. We've been working on doubles this week and we are still trying to find the right fit for the spring season. I think we've got two guys that didn't go to Thomasville in Sébastien [Collard] and Jack [Clements] that are eager to play in their first tournament. This one is going to be on hard courts. The guys who went to Thomasville, as the tournament went on, started playing better and better. So, we are trying to build on last weekend. We've got some really big tournaments coming up in October. So, we are looking forward to having high-energy, competitive matches this weekend. We are always trying to tell the guys to try to put themselves into a position to win. So, that's what we are going to be working on and doing the little things right in order to win."
