THEY SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu

- On heading into SBC Championships: "It's been a different year this year with our schedule being reduced and limited. However, we were very fortunate to have a season. We are happy and excited to play this weekend. It's a Conference Championship, and it's not going to be easy this year. We are the back-to-back defending champs, so everyone will be looking at us. This year, we trained and worked hard. Our goal is to win the Conference Championship, but the first thing we need to do is win the first round. We don't need to look past Lafayette because they are a good team. It doesn't matter if we beat them during the regular season because Friday will be a brand-new match. Overall, I like our matchups, and I think everyone is good and healthy. It's looking good, but at the end of the day, it's going to come down to who will get the job done on the court when it matters the most. The team is excited, and the morale is good. We want the big prize, but we first have to take care of Lafayette. We're ready, and we have to make sure that we don't look past the first round."

- On the seniors: "We have four seniors, with two being captain, and they are trying to close their college careers with their third ring in a row. They deserve it, and I know they're going to give everything they have for this team. They've been such great leaders, and they will run until their legs give up.

"We've added Julien [Evrard], and I know he's very excited because at his previous school, he never had the chance to win a Conference Championship, and he feels that this team will be able to give him his first Championship ring.

"We also have freshmen from last year who never got to see what a Conference Championship is like because our season ended in March. They are ready and anxious to get onto the court. The pressure is good, and this is where the team will enjoy the pressure. They're nervous, but at the same time, it's good nerves, and they can't wait to get out there and play."
