THEY SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu

- On this weekend's matches: " We are very excited to start the conference schedule. This year is a shorter, modified conference schedule because of the circumstances. We are very excited to start at home. It's going to be nice hosting Troy and Lafayette because these are two great teams in the conference. We didn't have a chance to play any of these two teams last year because the season was cut short.  I think both teams have new players that we haven't seen before, so it's going to be very exciting, and it feels great to start conference play as we get ready for Conference Championships."

- On the two teams: "We've had a great competitive rivalry with Troy being in the state. I know they always get excited when they play us so, we have to be careful and make sure we have a strong start because when you play conference matches, on paper doesn't mean anything, so we really have to go after them early and get the doubles point. They suddenly turn into very vocal and motivated players if they take the lead, so we have to make sure that we contain them early in the match. Lafayette, they don't really have any holes in their lineup. They're very equal from top to bottom, so it's going to be a battle at every position."
