THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Terry Fowler
-Opening statement: "It was disappointing. I thought we came out in the first quarter and played with a lot of energy, competed and played really well. Late in the second quarter they were able to get some separation, which they continued in the third quarter. They outrebounded us and pounded us, our lack of size has been a problem and today they really exposed that. We have to make shots, we can't expect to win a ball game when we only make 18 shots."
-On preparing for Nicholls next weekend: "We have to focus in practice and get some extra shooting in. Our kids are in finals this week, we need to let them focus on their academics and then we'll start preparing for Nicholls."
