THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- On the opening day of doubles competition in the Birmingham Collegiate Invitational: "We started the day in doubles. We tried out new pairs for this tournament where we had a little bit of an adaptation period, which I think hurt us in some matches. We didn't play bad but I don't think we played well. We had some slow starts. Louis [Delcour] and Seb [Collard] started playing better late in the match but it was too late. Max [St-Hilaire] and Jack [Clements] showed us some good things. They won the first match and were very aggressive and could be a possible pair for the spring. The results in doubles were not good but overall, I think we came here to compete and competed well. Hopefully, on Sunday, we are gelling a little bit better.

- On the opening day of singles competition in the Birmingham Collegiate Invitational: "I think we did good in singles, we fought really hard. Even in the matches that we lost, I felt like we were competing extremely hard in some tough matches. Seb played a tremendous opponent, who is probably going to win the tournament. Overall, I'm happy with the way we competed in singles. We came out with three wins in singles. That's what the fall is all about, is just getting better. Tomorrow, I hope we take a step in the right direction and fix some things that we did today."
