THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- On Sébastien at ITA Regionals: ". Seb [Collard] has been playing four straight days now and he has no legs right now. In the first set, he did complain a little bit about his legs and the lack of energy. He kept saying he couldn't make a certain ball because he doesn't have any more juice. After the first set, we told him, you have to push and play this through. Either you quit and shake his hand or you keep playing. He focused and regrouped and then took his guy to the third set and won it. His opponent is highly ranked in the nation and this was probably Seb's biggest collegiate win. He was really happy and fought through it. He responded really well and finished like a champ. Nobody was going to give it to him so, he had to go get it. I'm very proud of Seb, that was a great ranked win."

- On the Louis, Max and Javier at ITA Regionals: "I think every team was dealing with a lot of fatigue today. One of our goals in our team meeting this morning was to fight through the pain, regardless of the score. No excuses, no complaining and I think we did a good job with that. Some guys had to play indoors today, which is a big change compared to playing outdoors. But, I think we fought hard. We lost two really close matches indoors but the fall was all about process. We were practicing different things and getting ready for the spring. I thought the guys fought very hard and executed well. They just didn't come up with the win but it's not the end of the world. I liked the way they played and I liked the way they fought. We just came up a little short in two close matches."
