JAGUAR TRACK AND FIELD POSTS STRONG FINISH IN BIRMINGHAM AND JONESBORO

MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama track and field teams had six student-athletes record top-10 performances and set new personal bests on Sunday's meets at the KMS Open in Birmingham, Ala., and in the Scarlett and Black Invitational in Jonesboro, Ark.

NOTES
- Xavier Rogers's second-place, 48.74s 400m time was the seventh-fastest in program history. Cameron Stewart placed fourth in the same event with a 49.11 mark, which also ranks among the top 10 in program history (ninth).
- Josie Pry recorded a time of 9.08s in the 60m hurdles to place her 10th in the event, while Darnesha Harris and Shateaya Ligon crossed the line at 9.35s and 9.69s, respectively.

NOTES
- Kiara Risher's second place mark in the high jump (1.65m) was the sixth highest jump in program history.
- Francois Prinsloo recorded a personal best in the weight throw with a distance of 16.93m to claim sixth in the event. Dimitrios Manseiotis also posted a personal best in the same event with a 15.53m mark for an eighth-place finish.
- Bodine Umberti claimed a 16.47m personal best in the weight throw, which was the ninth-best mark in the history of the program.
- Angeline Smit took fifth place in the shot put with a 13.89 effort, which ranks seventh in program history.
- Taviana Williams was .01 away from her personal best in the triple jump, while Manesiotis was .01 away from his personal best in the shot put.
- Dorian Curry took fourth place in the high jump with a 2.01 distance which is the sixth highest in program history.
 - Three other Jaguars recorded personal bests in their respected events: Colette Uys (shot put and weight throw), Lucy Raynor (shot put) and Graham Collins (high jump).

- The Jaguars will host the Jaguar Invitational Sun., Feb. 7, at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
