THEY SAID IT
Head coach Nick Brochu
- On returning to play and the road trip:
"This is a big trip for us for a few reasons. First, we are ready to go down there and compete since we haven't played some matches in a while. We had some injuries that the time off allowed us to take care of and with this being our spring break, our guys will be able to mentally relax. These are three big opponents with two of them being ranked in the top 35. Every year we have had competitive matches with these opponents."
- On having three matches in four days:
"Playing three matches in four days will definitely be physically tough, but I feel we are fit. The most important this is that our freshmen have been improving and maturing over the last few weeks, so it will be interesting to see how they compete in these settings. I think that they have gotten better every match."
- On gearing up for the start of Sun Belt play in two weeks:
"These three matches are our final matches before we step into conference play. In doubles, we are going to really start seeing who our best player are and set up for our conference matches. Once we get into conference play, things will be very competitive. The conference tournament will be here before we know it."
