MOBILE, Ala. – South Alabama Men's Tennis saw its 2026 season come to a close when it dropped a 4-1 decision to Louisiana Friday morning at the Sun Belt Conference Quarterfinals.

• Friday's loss marks the end of the 2026 campaign for the Jaguars. South finished the year with an overall record of 9-11.
• The Jaguars have won nine matches in each of their last three seasons.
• Jules Caby claimed the only point of the day for the Jags in dominant fashion.

"Not really the result we wanted or expected. We felt good about today, but tennis sometimes comes down to a few points and we dropped a first set on courts two and three. I felt like that was the biggest difference. Sometimes it just doesn't go your way, and I think today was one of those days. The guys fought hard and I'm very proud of them for that, but things just didn't go our way."
