THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
- On today's performance: "Today, we played well, but we were not hitting the targets when we needed to, and those errors cost us some games. We were dominating most of the points, but when it came down to closing the game, we were inconsistent. UTC took advantage of those mistakes and was able to take sets away from us."
"Overall, today was not bad, but it needs to improve. We need to stay focused and execute the plan. We have to stay aggressive in doubles because our opponents were more aggressive than we were today.  For instance, on the second serve, we were more conservative. We can't play conservative tennis and hope to beat college Division I players. We have to be on top of our game and be aggressive. We have to learn from our mistakes in order to be progressive. We have to be more confident, take chances, calculate the risk and go for it."
