MOBILE, Ala. – Tonight's series opener between the University of South Alabama baseball team and No. 19 Coastal Carolina has been postponed due to field conditions, and will be made up as part of a Saturday doubleheader at Stanky Field beginning at 1 p.m.

Heavy rains and thunderstorms passed through the Mobile area Thursday night and Friday afternoon, forcing officials to postpone the series opener until Saturday. Game two of the series will begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one Saturday. Sunday's series finale is still scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. first pitch on Sun., April 7.

Fans holding tickets for Friday's contest are able to exchange their ticket for Saturday's doubleheader or any remaining home game during the course of the 2019 season.
