QUOTES FROM COACH BRUESKE
On the Alabama Track Challenge: "For the most part, Samford was a good meet for us. It is great to be able to get in a good friendly meet and have our athletes do so well."
Â
On the freshman class: "I thought (Graham) Collins, Barthelemy and Appling performed well. We have some talented freshmen, with some more talented recruits on their way. If these folks stay focused our future should be bright."
Â
On Fluker's performance: "To travel to the other side of the country after experiencing some travel issues and still put together a solid meet against some of the best in the nation is encouraging. She had her second-best hammer throw ever after a long day of traveling and then got a school record today on her sixth and final throw. It made the long trip worthwhile."
