THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
"VCU is a great team, always competitive year in and year out. This year, it is going to be great to have them at home; we have played them in the past, but always on the road. VCU has always been an aggressive team, they fight very well. Every year they have a few upsets. That's why they are always in the rankings. Tomorrow we really have to play some big tennis. We have to act like it's the first match of the season, and we have to be ready and play big."
"I think it is going to be a big test to see where we are at. I'm really happy with the first half of the season right now. It's going to be a big test, to see if we are able to show up week in and week out. We have to make sure that we don't underestimate them, even though we are the favorites in this match. Doubles is important, we have been winning a lot of singles matches lately, but doubles has not been our thing. We have been working on that, and tomorrow we hope that everything is clicking and take the doubles point. It's only one point but it's a good mental point. Tomorrow, the guys are excited to play VCU and we have to keep the ball rolling."
