THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Matt Luther
On the competition at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic: "It's a good field. It's a good opportunity for us to show who we are and what we're doing. We don't play defense and we don't run an offense against anybody, so we're going to do what we do."
On lessons learned from last weekend's tournament: "There were a lot. Every shot matters. I think we got a really good lesson last week in how important every single shot is."
On the team's development this season: "It's been good. There was a lot of growing up. Everybody is learning and getting better. The short-game facility has helped a ton. We're getting better and growing up. Freshmen are now sophomores. We have two seniors now that understand how to execute a game plan better, so it's fun to see."
