QUOTES FROM COACH BRUESKE
On the opening meet: "We had some promising performances and several personal-bests today. We had a new school record (Autavia Fluker, shot put). A few athletes showed that they can really help us. We still have a few athletes that need to step it up, but we've got a lot of time. It's early in the outdoor season and I think we've got the potential to have a very competitive outdoor team. We've just got to keep getting better."

On Fluker's performance: "She works so hard in the weight room and on the track. She's dedicated. It's great to see someone who's worked so hard succeed."
