NEW ORLEANS – University of South Alabama women's golfer Siti Shaari was named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office Thursday.

Shaari finished in third place, her best finish of the fall, at the Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Golf & Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., with a three-round, 9-under par total of 207. She turned in a 3-under par 69 in the opening round of the tournament, followed by a 2-under 70 in round two. Shaari capped the tournament with a 4-under par 68 in the final round. It marked her third consecutive tournament to finish at under par. Shaari currently ranks 34th nationally in Golfstat's Division I player rankings.

Shaari has earned top-five finishes in each of her first three tournaments of the season, and boasts a 70.00 stroke average through nine rounds this year. Thursday's announcement marked the second time this season she has been named the conference's golfer of the week. 

The Jaguars will open their spring schedule Feb. 16-18 at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate in New Orleans.
