NEW ORLEANS – University of South Alabama women's golfer Siti Shaari was named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office Thursday.
Shaari finished tied for fourth place in a field of 96 individuals at the Golfweek Conference Challenge Sept. 23-25 at Red Sky Golf Club's Fazio Course in Wolcott, Colo., with a three-round, 7-under par total of 209, which included a career-low 6-under par 66 in round two that tied for the lowest round in program history.
