QUOTES
Head Coach Matt Luther

- On the tournament:
"We obviously got off to a great start, and backed it up with the worst round all year. We did everything really well in the first round, and did almost the opposite in the second round – just didn't take care of the easy stuff. It's not the good rounds that win tournaments, it's managing the bad and we have to work on that."

- On positives from fall he wants to carry over to spring:
"Just generally getting better at stuff we need to improve on. Siti (Shaari) has obviously turned a corner, and Julie (Hovland) is starting to be just a solid low-round scorer for us. Our freshmen are starting to figure it out, and our deal is growth. We have seen a lot and gotten better every week this year, but we have a long way to go through the spring."

- On things to improve on entering the spring:
"It's just what we saw in Florida; when things are good we can play with anyone in the country, and when things are bad we need to figure out how to manage it. We're playing some hard courses in the spring. The spring always brings tough weather days, and we got one on the second round this week but didn't manage it well, and we have to do a better job of that."

- On accomplishing goals this fall:
"We couldn't have seen three more different golf courses and three more different types of conditions – firm and fast, high altitude with the ball flying forever in Colorado, and soft, receptive conditions in Florida with high winds in the second round. We got to see all types of different looks, and it kind of gives us an idea of where we're good and where we're not good, and what we need to do to get better so we can go to work now in the winter time."
