South Alabama leads the conference in GAA (0.55) and shutouts (6), and has posted four straight shutouts. USA last recorded five straight shutouts just prior to its 2017 NCAA Tournament appearance.
The last time the Jaguars posted back-to-back shutouts in Sun Belt play with a plus-6 goal differential was in 2016 (5-0 vs. Georgia Southern, 1-0 vs. Arkansas State).
Offensively, the Jags rank 19th in the nation in both points per game (7.33) and goals per game (2.58) and 29th in assists per game (2.17).
South Alabama's plus-24 goal differential after 12 games is sixth in school history and the best since 2014.

Morris is 34th in the nation in goals per game (0.75).
Justice Stanford has been in goal for all four of the Jaguars' most recent shutouts, giving her five on the season and 29 in her career. She is one clean sheet away from tying Danielle Wiley of Denver for fourth in Sun Belt history.

Gracie Wilson added another assist to her season total on the game-winner on Sunday, giving her six, which ranks first on the team and second in the conference.
Chloe McGlade had a goal and an assist vs. Georgia State, her first points in eight games, dating back to Stetson on Sept. 1. She is second on the team in points (12) and tied for second in goals (4).

MOODIE'S QUOTES ON THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES
On the upcoming weekend: "Rivalry aside, we've got to play the Nos. 2 and 3 teams in the conference this week. The teams we need to play in order to stay in good standing are still left on our schedule – it's in our hands. The Troy game is a big rivalry, but it's not going to overshadow any other game. We'll prepare the same, we'll be ready the same and we won't play to the occasion – we'll play to the points. That's important for the rest of the season that we understand what we're chasing."
On scoring more goals last weekend than the last two weeks: "Nothing really changed. Friday night we had 37 shots and only scored three goals. Troy had a third as many against ULM and scored double. For us, it's about taking chances. A lot of the time it's about the way the ball bounces, a little bit of luck, the right player in the right position… The ball bounced well for us, we got a little bit of luck and people were in the right place at the right time. What I can say about the group is, they learned a lot from Friday. We weren't so anxious to take half-opportunities on Sunday; we really wanted to create a moment of quality and capitalize on it, rather than trying to swing at half a chance. We were definitely more patient on Sunday and that's the lesson learned moving forward."
On Gracie Wilson: "That was no surprise for us, but when you bring in freshmen, you try to figure out how they fit into the current group and what they can bring to the table. She's someone that, week in and week out, trains well, looks after herself and is a true Division I athlete. She's fearless in possession. She's taking it all in in her first year, but as a freshman, she's not a deer in the headlights – she takes it all in stride. The opportunities that she creates are usually a result of her work ethic off the ball and winning the ball back. She understands the game fantastically, plays the way we've coached her to play and she does everything we ask. What helps her is the veterans we have in the group; they've been able to help her grow and achieve the success she's had."
