MOBILE, Ala. – United Soccer Coaches has named one Jaguar to each of the MAC Hermann Trophy Preseason Positional Players to Watch lists, making South Alabama the lone program in the nation to have a player recognized at each position.

United Soccer Coaches' Players to Watch lists are compiled and released by the Division I All-America Committees to promote college soccer leading up to the official start date for the regular season in August. The lists include United Soccer Coaches All-Americans and All-Region players from 2025 who are scheduled to return for the 2026 season.

In addition to Sierra Giorgio (Goalkeeper) and Amelia Campanella (Defender), the organization named Andrea Iljkic a Midfielder to Watch and Aliya Gomes a Forward to Watch. The two seniors tallied a combined eight goals and six assists last season, Iljkic with five goals and Gomes with four assists.

Additionally, both players were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Fourth Team.

The Jaguars are set to begin their 2026 campaign against Mississippi State on Wednesday.
