NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For the second time in as many weeks, University of South Alabama junior Autavia Fluker set a new school shot put record. The Bessemer, Ala. native's 15.44m (50-08.00) mark came on her final attempt as the Jaguar track & field teams competed at the Vanderbilt Indoor.   

Christian Ellis landed at fourth in the Jaguar record books with a 14.83m (48-08.00) triple jump mark.

NOTES AND RESULTS
-Hunter Appling moved up one spot to tie for seventh in the all-time USA record books after completing the 60m hurdles preliminary in 8.17 seconds.  
-Alex Elam ran the 200m in a personal-best 22.61 seconds, the eighth-fastest time in Jaguar history.
-Noah Mumme's personal-best 4.80m (15-09.00) pole vault mark was good for a sixth-place finish. The freshman advanced to eighth in the Jaguar record books with the effort.
-Keith Davis recorded a career-best long jump measurement of 6.83m (22-05.00).  
-Aryn McDowell set a new personal-best triple jump mark with an 11.15m (36-07.00) effort. 
-Newcomer Onesmus Kemboi picked up a top-10 finish in the 5,000m with a time of 15:00.59.  
-The 4 x 400m relay team crossed the line in 3:17.51.

UP NEXT
South Alabama is scheduled to compete in the multis portion of the Bayou Bengal Invitational hosted by LSU Jan. 31-Feb. 1 in Baton Rouge, La.
