THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the All-American: "This is the biggest tournament of the fall and it's a great opportunity for our guys. This year I decided to take four. Even though Sam (Serrano) and Sacha (Modica) are in the pre-qualies we felt they had a strong chance of reaching the qualifying draw and join Loic (Cloes) and Clement (Marzol) in the qualifying draw. One you get in the qualies, you're going to face a ranked-player every single round. We use this tournament ot get gusy ranked. Even though it's the beginning of the year, down the road sometimes it helps tremendously. That's one of the reasons why Loic and Clem got a big ranking last year. They got a couple of key wins at the All-American last year. We are going to be there for nine days. It's going to be tough physically and mentally, but I think the guys are excited. Loic and Clem have a great opportunity with their ranking in doubles. We're not only going there for doubles, even though we're excited they're in the main draw. We think they're capable of making through qualies and into the main draw in singles. We have to focus on everything. It's a going to be a great challenge."

On not playing in a tournament prior to the ITA: "Our first tournament of the year got cancelled so we played a bunch of challenge matches at practice to try and get the guys ready. Fortunately, all of those guys played in tournaments over the summer. I think they're still sharp as far as match play is concerned. Every day we try and create a competitive atmosphere to get them ready for the tournament."
