SOUTH MEN’S TENNIS CONCLUDES FALL WITH DOUBLES TEAM AT ITA EVENT

SURPRISE, Ariz. – The South Alabama men's tennis team's fall season will come to an end this week when the tandem of Loic Cloes and Clement Marzol compete at the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Dates: Nov. 7-11
Place: Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex

ON THE COURT FOR THE JAGUARS
- Jr. Loic Cloes
- Jr. Clement Marzol

NOTES
- The juniors will be the sixth seed in a draw that includes 32 doubles teams.
- They will face Florida's Brian Berdusco and Johannes Ingildsen in the opening round at 6 p.m. (CST) Wednesday.
- Cloes and Marzol are 6-2 so far this fall.
- The two advanced to the finals in the doubles draw at the ITA Southern Regional Oct. 18-23 after reaching the quarterfinals of the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American the first week of October.
- Their run at the ITA All-America came to an end with a loss to another Gator team, Andy Andrade and Oliver Crawford.
- Cloes fell to Ingildsen — who was the 11th seed — in a singles consolation match at the ITA All-America.

On the tournament: "This is a great tournament, we will be playing against the top 32 teams in the country.  It's a great opportunity.  There's no pressure, we need to go for it and play solid.  We will approach this tournament like the ones before, one match at a time."
