THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Richard Moodie
Overall thoughts
: "First, we're a bit upset at how the game ended there with the injury so our thoughts go out to her. I'm really proud of our effort; you can see why we can control games, but you can also see why we've not won as many games (as we should have). We have a lot of young players in front of goal, but I thought we created a lot of good chances and that was the big issue we've had of late."

On Morris' performance: "She's been massive. She's filled that void of a Rio Hardy. Today we wanted to use her differently. We felt like the game would be rough-and-tumble at the start and a little more direct. We felt like for 20-25 minutes we could stretch them then Briana could come into the game and capitalize on the fatigue. It seemed to work; she bought into the idea and understood why. She plays a role, whether she's starting or at what position. She's a class act and someone who's done an exceptional job stepping up into a massive void of scoring and creating goals."

On staying alive in the tournament: "We've played good soccer all year. We've had a tough schedule and maybe a few unfortunate results but the ball bounced our way today. We worked hard, stuck to a gameplan and I think it worked. We love being here and it's always a great week."
